The university has confirmed what many suspected: when ideology aligns with institutional bias, consequences vanish. Oxford University will take no disciplinary action against George Abaraonye, the Union President-elect who publicly celebrated Charlie Kirk's assassination. This decision represents institutional cowardice masquerading as principle.

The facts are uncontestable. Within hours of Kirk's murder at Utah Valley University on September 10, Abaraonye posted celebratory messages across multiple platforms. "Charlie Kirk got shot, let's f****** go" appeared in a WhatsApp group chat, followed by "Charlie Kirk got shot loool" on Instagram. These weren't private thoughts accidentally leaked - they were deliberate communications expressing joy over a political murder.
